Switchblade – A Premium WordPress Theme That’s Packed Full Of Customisation Options

Posted on by in Blog

Switchblade is a powerful new WordPress theme from WordPress specialists WP Scientist. It can be used for a corporate website, personal blog, portfolio and much more.

The themes biggest selling point is the huge amount of customisation it offers. In addition to being able to upload your own background image or set your background colour, there are 8 colour schemes to choose from: Grey, Red, Green, Green 2, Blue, Orange, Purple and Pink. There’s also a whopping 170 fonts to choose from.

It also features:

  • A drag and drop content manager for posts and pages (known as Content Composer v2).
  • A unique template system that lets you save, load, import and export templates to other pages and other websites.
  • 3 different sliders.
  • 2 footer styles.
  • 4 custom widgets and the ability to customise the sidebar for each post or page.

There are 7 modules available for ‘Content Composer v2′ (the drag and drop content manager): blank module, services module, portfolio module, blog module, testimonials module, contact module and a separator module.

Switchblade features an unbranded options area. Through this area you can customise the appearance of your website, add your social media profile information, change your fonts and determine what is shown on your blog and portfolio pages.

Switchblade WordPress Theme Options

Switchblade offers users a huge number of ways to customise the look of your website. The template system is a welcome addition and with the modules system you can easily change the way important sections of your website are displayed without looking at any code. It’s a great theme for those of you who are looking for more control over how your website is displayed but don’t want the extensive features and options that comes with a theme framework.

A regular license for Switchblade retails for $35 from ThemeForest and comes with extension documentation and the original layered Photoshop PSD file.

Thanks,
Kevin
