Dzonia is very similar to the Colorway design I reviewed a few months ago. It has a great looking home page template with a slider and space to promote different areas of your site. Four widget areas are placed at the bottom of the page.
The overall design is clean and professional looking and could be used for a business, blog or portfolio.
The blog template has been vastly improved over older InkThemes designs. It still has a minimal feel to it though the large feature images make the page stand out.
The gallery template that is built into the theme is really good (only available in the premium version though). Thumbnails of all of your images are shown on the site. When a user clicks on an image a lightbox appears with the full size image. From this area all images can be selected underneath the full size image.
As with all InkThemes designs, Dzonia comes with a good options area. I tested the lite version of the design and was pleased with how good the options area was. You can upload your logo, change the featured section images on the home page, add custom CSS and set your social media profile links.
The free version is good though lacks a lot of features that the pro version has. If you upgrade ($45) you will get 8 colour schemes instead of 1, more options for the home page and additional templates such as the gallery and contact form templates. You will also get the original Photoshop PSD files, bonus backgrounds, documentation and full support.
Dzonia is a simple design that will appeal to those of you who are looking for something minimal. I encourage you to check it out.
