On Tuesday, WordPress template company ThemeFuse released its latest premium product: the Interakt Responsive WordPress theme. As the title alludes to, Interakt is a fully responsive theme that comes with pre-set layout designs for small screen visitors who are browsing via an iPhone, iPad, Samsung Galaxy, Android, etc.
ThemeFuse co-founder Bogdan Condurache posted Tuesday, “Like its title implies, this new theme is perfectly suited for all kinds of agency websites, corporate and business firms and last but not least – creative studios in search of a new and modern web presence.
The theme comes prepared with 2 types of sliders, a wide variety of shortcodes, many different pages (including already designed pages like Services, Pricing, About Us, Contact, etc) – everything you might need for this kind of website. The design style is the beautiful Metro (Modern) UI, which is very trendy right now and will be for a while to come. “
Interakt: A Closer Look
Interakt comes with a traditional logo slot located at the top-left section of the homepage, along with a top navigational bar next to it. Whichever page within the CMS is being moused-over from the visitor viewpoint will be highlighted with an orange underscore to designate which section the front-end visitor will be routed to upon clicking (or tapping).
At the top-right, webmasters can insert a unique Call-To-Action message that can be easily shaded to a different color palette so it sticks out. Below the navigation bar is a two-toned text section that can serve as an introductory message to visitors with a sidebar located on the right.
The Featured Content Slider by default presents potential clients with a grid-style background along with a featured image. Numbered icons at the bottom-right show which slide is currently being viewed, while front-end users can easily toggle the content left and right via the arrow icons.
Finally, there is a homepage blurbs section below the slider that is laid out in three columns. This is ideal for communicating more aspects about your agency, plus there are “More” links included after the text excerpts so readers can easily click through to find out more.
Custom Page Templates
Interakt comes with a number of pre-programmed custom page templates that can be used for Contact Info, Blogs, etc. In the blog entry excerpt shown below, the page heading is accompanied by a featured image, publication date, author name, title, text, social media sharing buttons, number of comments, and Read More link.
The Photo Gallery custom page is designed in three columns and uses LightBox effects to highlight the specific image that is currently being moused-over or selected. This page can be used for portfolio information to show off to potential clients.
If your agency website has the need to promote its corporate team, Interakt can handle that task with ease thanks to The Team section that is presented to readers in four columns. As soon as any image is approached, the image will flip to text.
Shortcodes And Compatibility
The Interakt responsive WordPress theme comes with a variety of shortcodes for inserting buttons, alert boxes, columned text, lists, charts, media, maps, LightBox effects, typography and more. Below is just a small sample of how shortcodes can be utilized on the back-end to enhance the content that a reader sees.
The latest offering from ThemeFuse is compatible with Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Opera. It will also work on the latest WordPress update (Version 3.5.1). There are plenty of widgetized regions in the form of sidebars and footers to place custom widgets and grant visitors one-click access to social media accounts, Twitter feeds, Flickr photos, recent comments, testimonials, etc.
