Review: Atom Responsive WordPress Theme

in Blog

As WPMod’s resident theme roundup author I spend a lot of time in various WordPress theme marketplaces. And when I say a lot, I mean A LOT. Several hours almost every day. And it is during this time that certain themes begin to stand out to me as truly excellent. Granted, my personal background is more in the realm of art/design as opposed to development but I make sure all of the themes I write about have up-to-date specs and functionality to match the latest version of WordPress.

One theme fitting that description that has come up over and over again lately has been Atom – A design studio fully responsive WordPress theme.

Atom WordPress Theme

I really like the look and feel of this theme as a personal portfolio or creative business website. But beyond the design it’s well equipped for it too sporting some fantastic features. They include: four default schemes, 50+ shortcodes (pricing tables, tabs, order now system, social buttons, pretty photo, and more), Admin panel with color picker and image uploader, contact form, shortcode generator, infinite portfolios and projects, built-in widgets for flickr, twitter, social icons, search and more.

It’s my opinion that with some customization it would be hard to go wrong using Atom as your professional creative site. What do you think?

Screw ThemeForest. They shut Multisite users/network owners out – many authors would let you use their themes on MS on a regular license but TF doesn`t allow it.
