The Ultimate Coming Soon Page WordPress plugin is a quick and efficient way of creating a coming soon page for your website. The plugin works with any WordPress theme and uses HTML5 and CSS3.

The plugin is very easy to use. Through the settings area you can set your logo, title and description. You can allow visitors to subscribe to your RSS list using feedburner. You need to upgrade to the pro version of the script in order to get MailChimp integration. Unfortunately, no other newsletter providers are supported in either version though the pro version does let you store email addresses. This isn’t a major problem in my opinion as there is a custom HTML option in which you can add your own HTML code; therefore you could just add a newsletter form manually.

The background colour of your coming soon page can be changed. Alternatively, you can choose a background image instead, You can only change the colour of your font to black, white or grey though there are dozens of fonts to choose from for your header and body text. Custom CSS can also be added.

There are more advanced coming soon page builders available though I was quite impressed with what Ultimate Coming Soon Page could do. It took me less than two minutes to create a decent looking coming soon page.

I quite like Ultimate Coming Soon Page due to how simple it is to use. It’s worth checking out if you want to throw up a quick coming soon page for your website.
