Blogstand Functionality

Blogstand Interface

A quick look at the official Blogstand website informs potential users on how the application works. “Blogstand can help you attract and retain your mobile audience by giving them a great way to find and read your blog while on the go. If you use WordPress, it takes less than a minute to add your blog to Blogstand and get a native app experience for your site,” the site explains.

Letting you experience any WordPress blog as a native iOS app has its benefits, especially when it comes to convenient access. Blogstand has made an effort to partner up with a large amount of bloggers (thousands in fact) and includes the ability to discuss your thoughts with fellow users.

Thanks to the way blogs are displayed within the application, you won’t have to worry about zooming in and out and “pinching” in order to get a close look at what you’re interested in. Every blog is optimized to read well on your iPhone mobile device. Social network sharing is also a breeze with Blogstand, with icons conveniently located at the bottom of the material that’s currently being read.

Real Time Notifications

Blogstand Real Time Updates

Thanks to the Blogstand design, you’ll be able to receive real time updates informing you of new material on your favorite blogs, plus there is also an area for following along with discussions that you’re currently involved in for a much more customized feel.

Blogstand was originally launched at the beginning of 2012 with a focus on publishers, but has since changed its target to place a higher importance on sharing views from fellow users who have similar interests.

If you like, you can get Blogstand by clicking on the link provided on the site’s homepage, and simply entering your cellular phone number from there. The Terms of Service state that any user downloading the application must be at least 13 years of age with a legal full name plus a valid email address.

Blog Distribution

Adding your website to Blogstand will provide an opportunity to improve distribution by making your content accessible to all of the application’s current users. This could be a particularly good idea for someone who produces niche content on a website with an established readership; allowing for greater exposure among mobile device customers who may use Blogstand exclusively due to its comfortable display.

To find out more about the Blogstand product and how it works, you can visit either the App Store or go directly to the application’s official site and read the published information.

Whether the product will ultimately succeed may depend heavily on Appifier’s ability to monetize the service and generate revenue in some fashion from its client base.
